In 2008, 18-year-old Elizabeth had just finished high school and was getting ready to move to college. She spent the summer with her boyfriend, Tyler, before they said goodbye. He did plan to visit her though, as often as he could.
When Elizabeth got to college she met her roommate, Morgan. The pair instantly made a connection and became fast friends.
Elizabeth noticed she’d been putting on some weight at school, but figured it was the good old “Freshman 15.” Otherwise, she felt perfectly healthy and normal.
But just a few months later, Elizabeth woke up in the middle of the night with bad cramps, nausea and sharp abdominal pain. She was so uncomfortable she could barely move. It felt like her insides were pulling and twisting in every direction.
“Something is exploding,” she thought to herself. “I’m dying.”
When Morgan found her roommate writhing in a panic on the bathroom floor, she snapped into action. She rushed for her keys to take her to the hospital — but that’s when she saw the blood, and a head coming out of Elizabeth’s body!
Morgan was understandably terrified and had no clue what to do (or so she thought). She didn’t want to show her friend just how scared she was and managed to keep her cool.
Morgan realized Elizabeth was going into labor — and she hadunknowingly been pregnant for months.
In this video, see how the teenager’s “doctor’s instinct” took over for the sake of her friend (and friend’s surprise newborn baby) like you wouldn’t believe.
